Welcome...
This blog has been created to provide a discussion forum for international business and entrepreneurship trends worldwide. It is meant to be collaborative, and not to reflect the opinions of any one author, university, for profit business, or not-for-profit entity. Each contributor provides their commentary free of actual, or in-kind compensation, and retains full copyright ownership. All photos or content are used with written permission.
My personal interest in beginning this blog is as a means of "giving something back" to the business community. I've been very fortunate personally, and professionally, to have the opportunity to be on the Boston College faculty for several years, start and run businesses, consult to start-ups and established entities, serve as a board member for different firms, and mentor / teach well over 200 graduate students each year. My way of saying "thank you" is to begin sharing the knowledge personally, as well as through the contributions of like minded friends, and business associates.
The name Language of Business is a play-on-words for a hobby of mine, which is foreign language study, as well as my immense respect for BC. (i.e., hence the URL bclob, or "BC Language of Business"). Please feel free to send any feedback to my Boston College email address, which is [email protected]. I sincerely look forward to hearing from you.
